SOFTWARE SUITE DESCRIPTION
MazdaEdit offers both DIY and custom tuning solutions for Mazda owners. The software suite comes in three levels;
MAZDAEDIT LITE
MazdaEdit Lite offers the end-user the best deal for Custom, and Base Tuning files. It comes with a utility to both read and write the vehicle ECU with files supplied by Dynotronics. Loaded files can then be data-logged for review, and updates.
MazdaEdit Lite does not offer edit capabilities for the end-user
MAZDAEDIT PERSONAL
MazdaEdit Personal offers everything from MazdaEdit Lite, but also includes the editor to allow the end-user to create and edit their own tuning files. It is registered to a single vehicle via the VIN, and is intended for non commercial use.
MAZDAEDIT PROFESSIONAL
MazdaEdit Professional is designed for shops that will tune more than one car, and have experience in ROM parsing. Comes with a one year license that allows you to submit new ROM files for inclusion into your software data base, as well as full definitions for the editor suite
TUNING FILES
There are several levels of tuning files for MazdaEdit offered by Dynotronics;
BASE TUNING
Base Tuning files are designed for your vehicle, and your regions top shelf, premium fuel. These files are based on years of tuning experience on each platform that we support. They are designed for a stock, or near stock vehicle, and are intended as a first step on your tuning journey. If you modifications such as CAI, or header( Normal Atmospheric), or turbo changes, and downpipe, you will need a custom tuning solution.
CUSTOM TUNING
Following the PDF instruction manual, you will be guided through the process in a seamless fashion. From beginning to end, the journey to a custom tuned calibration for your car will take place with Dynotronics supplied custom tuned ROM files for your car. You can then use the kit to program these ROM files, data-log the car and send the logs to the Dynotronics for review and adjustment. Custom tuning comes with a lifetime update policy. As long as you own the car, and stay within the same file type(Normal Atmospheric, Forced induction, E85, Flex), your data review, and file update are free of charge.
Your file will be assigned to one of our tuners, and they will be with you the from start to finish via our industry leading support ticket system. 24/7 technical support is included should you encounter any issues. One on one REAL TIME REMOTE SERVICE can be added to this level if you require more in-depth support.
Custom tuning is for those that have gone beyond the edge of the "stock" vehicle. If you have any engine modifications, this is the best option for your car. From simple updates, such as CAI (Cold Air intake), and headers/ full exhaust, to the full blown turbo install, with larger fuel system, and all the trimmings, Dynotronics has you covered!
SELF TUNING
MazdaEdit Personal allows you to create your own tuning file from a copy of the stock ROM. The built in ROM editor will come with the latest definitions for your ROM file This is a perfect option for those with a tuning background, or those wanting to learn more about tuning.
Vehicle Interface Cable
You will need a Vehicle Interface Cable (VIC). We suggest the Tactrix Open Port 2 since it has been proven to work well with MazdaEdit. There are three options;
No Hardware Required
please use this option if you have your own Taxtrix cable or have access to one.
Tactrix OpenPort 2 Purchase
Please select this option if you would like us to supply you a cable to keep as your own
Tactrix OpenPort 2 Deposit For Rental
Please use this option if you intend to return the cable after your tuning is complete. You will be issued a credit for 175.00 upon return of the cable to us. Please note that cables MUST be returned in the same packaging as received
EXTRA FEATURES
Diagnostics & Data Logging
All MazdaEdit Suites come bundled with data-logging for vehicles that you program, as well as a factory level Diagnostic Code (CEL) reader.

Programming License
Each ECU programmed will require a licence, which is supplied by Dynotronics. Extra flash licenses can be purchased HERE.
