IT FINALLY HAPPENED............
You asked and we delivered! After 2 years of development, and testing, the Dynotronics designed, 1GOAL MK1 manifolds are here!
A CLEAN SHEET OF PAPER.................
After the success of the Original 2.5 manifold, we started to look at some of the short comings to see what we could do to make these better. In partnership with 1GOAL PERFORMANCE, we set out a list of things we wanted to improve. And with the incredible performance of the original unit, this was not an easy thing to do! But we had a few ideas..........
1. make the manufacturing process more seamless
2. make the welding process more uniform
3. increase the performance across the board
4. bring the new units in at a more desireable price point
Well, we are happy to tell you that we have done everything we set out to do! Working with 1GOAL PERFORMANCE, we were able not only make these units make more power than the original, make them sexier looking, and bring them in at at a much better price point, but we also were able to make them 2 lbs LIGHTER than the original!!!
CNC IS STILL SEXY..............
The new MK1 1GOAL intake still features all CNC machined flanges made from aircraft grade 6061T6 aluminum. We have increased the throttle body flange opening to match a 70MM throttle body this time around. The plenum chamber is now flow formed in two mirror images and welded to a CNC base. Intake runners are now a smooth tapered tube, flow formed to exact inlet and outlet flange dimensions, and made out of a special wall thickness 6061.
The whole unit is jig assembled and welded, then anealed to reduce the chance of stress cracking at the weld joints.
And the welds! Talk about weld porn!! These are done by hand by some of the best welding techs in the world! The assembly welds alone are well worth the price of admission here!
While we were at it, why not look into a new finishing process, right? We are pleased to announce that the new MK1 will come fully anodized. Those of you who have seen the powedercoated units will wonder why, but anodizing has one thing over powder, durability! Powder coating is, as the name implies, a coating that sits on the exterior of the part coated, while anodizing is actually etched into the surface a slight depth. It tends to slightly harden the surface of the part in addition to making it look pretty. Anodizing welded parts is not easy, and requires a very special welding process so the parent metal and filler rod have the same properties, otherwise you get a discolored weld. But with our new process, the welds and the parent metal are both equaly sexy. Anodizing provides a rugged, beautiful finish that will last for years with no special care. Aerospace parts are almost universally anodized for this ruggedness. Not easy, or cheap to do, but your NC desirves the best, so thats why we did it!
AND THE RESULTS????
While Dynotronics and 1GOAL are super excited about the engineering, fit and finish of the MK1, if it did not gain performance over the original version 1, we would have dropped the project. We are happy to say that not only did it gain performance, it exceeded our goals! On a built 2.5 turbo, we have seen 5-8% gains in flow and output up to 5500 RPM, and a whopping 10-12% from 5600 RPM to a 7500 RPM redline. We also plan to test these shortly on the stock based 2.0, but expect gains in the same areas due to the design.

REQUIRES THE INSTALLATION OF A COLD AIR INTAKE, AND WILL NOT WORK WITH THE STOCK FACTORY AIR INTAKE SYSTEM
