The moment has arrived! Our new 13 lb 4140 Chromoly flywheel is now avaliable!

After several years of testing, we found that the prefect weight for a flywheel on the 2.5 conversion is 13.0 lbs. This amount of mass gives you the best acceleration with the least amount of "chatter" on the 2.5 conversion for the MX5. Over time we have pretty much tried and tested every available option on the flywheel market and much like Goldie Locks, this one was a bit too light, this one was a bit to heavy, this one was made of the wrong steel, and this one falls apart. But we, strange as we are, went to the extra effort to get our own special made, out of the correct steel alloy, at EXACTLY the correct weight, and now we have one that's just right!

Built exclusively for 1 Goal by ClutchMasters, our 13 lb flywheel is made from 4140 chromoly, instead of 4130 like the other guys. Why is this important? Well, 4140 has a higher carbon content by weight, and because of that our flywheels have a higher hardenablity. This translates to a much extended lifespan, and a net savings to your wallet over time!

These flywheels are SFI certified, and come complete with clutch hardware.
